Student Information

Your registration

Pre-registration for each series will be necessary to ensure a space in the class. All new students will be required to bring a standard yoga mat (68")! DYS sells original tapas mats at reasonable prices.

Your timeliness

Arriving to class in a timely manner is appreciated by both the students and teacher. Come to the facility with plenty of time to change clothes and prepare for class.

Your equipment

Please remember your yoga mat!

Your clothing

Wear comfortable clothing. T-shirt, and shorts or tights. It is helpful for the teacher to see the lines of the legs, so avoid baggy pants.

Your body

Try not to eat for 2 hours prior to class, but do be sure to have nutrients in your system. Drink water the day of class to hydrate the body. Practice at your own level. Ask questions if you need to.

Your mind

Be kind to yourself. Arrange your schedule to allow for an unhurried trip to class. Be willing to learn, and by all means don't try to be perfect, just enjoy the process.
